Care & Maintenance
The hum kids by Colgate smart manual toothbrush connector and toothbrush are both made of mixed plastic materials including ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, a common plastic used in children's toys) and silicone. Because of this mix, both can be recycled at specific recycling centers.
This product meets all toy safety substance and mechanical standards for its intended age group. The plastic used is not made using BPA.
To keep it in tip top shape, keep your hum kids by Colgate smart manual toothbrush and connector clean by following these simple steps:
- Rinse the toothbrush and connector thoroughly after use. Removing all toothpaste residue and debris
- Store your toothbrush in an upright position so it can dry quickly and place it away from the toilet bowl and sink. This avoids the toothbrush being splashed with water that could contain bacteria from either location
- Regularly open the connector and rinse inside and allow it to dry
- Don't share toothbrushes with anyone.
- Replace your toothbrush head regularly. It should be replaced every 3 months
hum kids by Colgate smart manual toothbrush uses augmented reality to analyze the way your child is brushing by providing an interactive experience of a real-world environment "augmented" by computer-generated perceptual information.
The hum by Colgate app uses the front-facing camera of any mobile device (phone or tablet) to detect which area of the mouth your child is brushing. By brushing in different areas, your child will control the hum kids brushing game.
